About Tom Irwin Marine

At Tom Irwin Marine (dba of Tom Irwin Construction Ltd.), we focus on Light Marine Construction, primarily high-quality timber docks and wood frame boathouses. From our facility and home base, in Ladysmith, British Columbia, we have built over 60 boathouses and more than 70 thousand square feet of docks since 2007.

Our skilled marine workers are at the heart of the company’s success! We believe that great team dynamics, safety, respect for environment, and understanding our customers vision are vital to successful project outcomes.

Tom Irwin is Owner/President of Tom Irwin Marine. He is a Red Seal carpenter with over 35 years of experience, in both commercial wood frame construction and concrete forming. He is hands on and in office, which ultimately ensures project quality assurance. He is proud to construct premier boathouses in partnership with the Oak Bay Marine Group.
